How do YOU start your day?

Are you like most people and check your text messages and emails first thing in the morning?

If you do, then you let someone else prioritize your day. Maybe before you even eat breakfast in the morning.

How you start your day sets the tone for the rest of your day.

So, if you’re checking emails and messages first thing in the morning, then you are reacting to someone else and their needs First, instead of paying attention to Your needs and Your goals.

So take control of your day!

It’s beneficial not only for your success and your well being, but it also helps you to get into the right mindset in order to be productive and organized, and to help other people.

So, maybe you could start your day with a mini mind dump. Maybe for the first 10 minutes of the morning, sit down and make a list of things that you need to get done for that day. Then set aside some time so that you will ba able to do some of the things on your list.

I’ve been doing that for some time now, and it has helped me out both in my personal life and in my business as well. It may also help you out too.

Thank you for reading and for watching.

Thank you for your comment Jennifer. Sometimes I find that the first thing I want to do is check my messages! I have to remind myself to get focused on what I have to get done that day first.

Thank you MyCyberspaceBiz. You are so right!

  6. Great idea Jodene. I like your idea about staying in control of your day by what you do first thing. Focusing on what I want to accomplish in my day first is a much more empowering way to begin. Checking out email or text messages is truly not a positive way to begin. Thanks for the reminder. Like the Mind Dump! Wendy

      Thanks Mike.
It’s great, yet very simple. You would think it was common sense too, but I used to get wrapped up checking to see if I had any leads or money in the bank!
